DEEP DIVER
Deep Diving Specialty will teach you all you need to dive up to 40 meters depth, through a mixture of academic sessions and open water dives.
You will learn to plan and safely complete your deep diving adventures and use computers and gas consumption calculations to get the most from your deep dives.
Upon completion, you will be able to explore beautiful deep dive sites wherever you choose.
This specialty is perfect to pair with the PADI Enriched Air (Nitrox) program and earn two specialties at once

- Dive to a maximum depth of 40m/130ft
- Learn gas management techniques
- GO DEEPER
- Be at least 15 years old
- Be at least a certified Advanced Open Water Diver
- Last dive not more than 6 months ago, otherwise a Refresher / ReActivate course is required.
- Certified Enriched Air Nitrox Diver is highly recommended
- Medically fit to dive, for safety, all participants must complete a brief medical prior to commencing the dive. If none of the listed conditions apply, you sign the form and you’re ready to start. If any of them apply to you, as a safety precaution, a physician must assess the condition as it relates to diving and sign a medical form that confirms that you’re fit to dive, dated within the last 12 months. THEORY
Digital / eLearning OR Traditional Classroom and Book:
During this program, you will learn
- Techniques for diving in the deeper range of 18-40 metres/ 60-130 feet
- Deep scuba diving equipment considerations.
- Experience in planning, organizing and making deep dives.
Average eLearning / Book Reading time: 2-4 hours
For Traditional Classroom/Book option – Successful Classroom Time: 1 hour for 1 day
