Ocean Lounge #3 – Diving Safety & Hyperbaric Medicine Workshop

Poseidon Dive Center successfully hosted the third edition of Ocean Lounge, featuring a Diving Safety & Hyperbaric Medicine Workshop in collaboration with The View Hospital – Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy Department.

The workshop brought together members of Qatar’s diving community, dive professionals, and ocean enthusiasts for an educational evening focused on diving safety, decompression sickness, and the vital role of hyperbaric medicine in the treatment of diving-related injuries.

The session was presented by Dr. Raja Ben Sassi, Physician specializing in Undersea and Hyperbaric Medicine at The View Hospital, together with the Poseidon Dive Center team. Through expert presentations, real-world examples, and interactive discussions, participants gained valuable knowledge on preventing, recognizing, and responding to diving emergencies.

• Interactive questions and answers about hyperbaric chamber treatment and diving medicine

The workshop concluded with an engaging Q&A session, where attendees had the opportunity to ask Dr. Raja Ben Sassi about decompression illness, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and best practices for safe diving.
