Red Sea Diving Trip 2026 – Sharm El Sheikh & Dahab

From 20th to 26th August 2026, Poseidon Dive Center set off on another international diving adventure, this time to the legendary waters of Sharm El Sheikh and Dahab, Egypt. Five incredible days brought together world-class diving, historic wrecks, spectacular coral reefs, the iconic Blue Hole, and a final day exploring the beauty of the Sinai Desert.

Our underwater journey began at Ras Mohammed National Park, one of the Red Sea’s most celebrated diving destinations. Our first dives took us to the spectacular Shark Reef and Yolanda Reef, where dramatic drop-offs, colorful coral formations, and abundant marine life gave us the perfect introduction to the Red Sea. We continued to the historic SS Dunraven wreck, before finishing the day at Ras Za’atar, completing an unforgettable first day beneath the surface.

Day Two brought one of the most anticipated dives of the entire trip — the legendary SS Thistlegorm. Resting beneath the Red Sea since World War II, this iconic wreck offered our divers the chance to explore an extraordinary piece of underwater history, with motorcycles, trucks, wartime cargo, and equipment still visible throughout the wreck. We continued our day at Anemone City and Yolanda Reef, surrounded by beautiful coral reefs and the incredible marine life that makes Ras Mohammed so special.

On Day Three, we travelled to Dahab for a completely different Red Sea experience. We explored two of its most famous dive sites, the Blue Hole and Canyon, discovering dramatic underwater landscapes, walls, coral formations, and the unique topography that has made Dahab famous among divers worldwide. As the sun disappeared, we returned beneath the surface for a night dive at Far Garden, experiencing the reef after dark and discovering a completely different side of the Red Sea.

Our fourth diving day took us to the Straits of Tiran, where we explored three of its renowned reefs: Jackson Reef, Thomas Reef, and Gordon Reef. Crystal-clear waters, beautiful coral walls, exciting currents, and thriving marine life made Tiran another highlight of the journey. Each reef offered its own character and scenery, making our final day of diving one to remember.

After four action-packed days underwater, Day Five was all about experiencing the wild side of Sharm El Sheikh. We headed into the Sinai Desert with Sharm Wild Side Safari, riding quad bikes across the desert landscape before slowing things down with a traditional camel ride. As evening arrived, we enjoyed a Bedouin dinner and live show, ending the night beneath the desert sky with an unforgettable stargazing experience.

From drifting alongside spectacular reefs and exploring legendary shipwrecks to diving the Blue Hole and watching the stars above the Sinai Desert, our Red Sea Diving Trip 2026 was about much more than diving. It was a week of adventure, discovery, friendship, and shared experiences both above and below the surface.

Another incredible international journey with Poseidon Dive Center — and certainly not our last.
